Kensington baseball schedules games with surrounding towns.

IMPORTANT:  All teams entered into these leagues would be a Kensington team - all KYAA (Kensington) athletes will play together.  

T-ball

This is a highly instructional and recreational league.  All athletes Pre-K and K (ages 4, 5 and 6) are eligible.  Games last 3 innings, all players bat each inning and last approximately 1 hour.   Tball games are typically played against Kingston and East Kingston to maintain a reasonable level of travel.
Cost is $40 for the regular season. Clinics: If playing KYAA Baseball or Tball – $25 for all 4 sessions (paid up front and in full) or $15/session. If not playing KYAA Baseball or Tball - $40 for all 4 sessions (paid up front & in full) or $15/session.

Farm League:  

A league mainly for grades 1 and 2 (6 and 7 year olds [8 year olds need special permission]) that is designed to transition kids from T-ball to baseball.  It is an instructional, non competitive league.  No score or standings are kept.  This is an 8-10-game (+/-) season from May 2nd to June 11th typically held one or two weekdays and/or Saturdays.  Goals of the Farm League are to develop fundamental skills and of course a love for the game.  Games are played by coach or machine pitch to keep the game moving and to provide maximum reps for everyone.

AAA:

This league is for athletes in grades 3 and 4 (8-10 year-olds) and introduces the athletes to player-pitching and a higher level of competition. Coaches typically pitch the first 2 innings for the first part of the season and players pitch the remaining innings (up to 3 more). Instruction is still a primary focus however the level of competition increases and more rules of the game are introduced. The season is up to 12 games held on two or three weekdays and/or Saturdays (reduction in time commitment will be at the coach's discretion) with scores and standings being kept, paid umpires used and most rules in baseball apply.

Cost is $65 for the regular season. Clinics: If playing KYAA Baseball or Tball - $25 for all 4 sessions (paid up front and in full) or $15 session. If not playing KYAA Baseball or Tball – $40 for all 4 sessions (paid up front & in full) or $15/session.
Multi-player families pay $40 for each additional sibling (plus clinic fee if desired), $25 for T-ball.
